EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Dates Announced for 2021

There are few things that I look forward to at the Disney Parks more than the EPCOT festivals! While Flower & Garden Festival has always been my favorite, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival takes second place. This year Food & Wine Festival fun begins even earlier, and I can’t wait to experience it for myself this fall.

According to Disney Parks Blog, EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will kick off on July 15, 2021, and end on November 20, 2021. That means we have over four months to enjoy all of the tastes, sips, and experiences of one of EPCOT’s most popular festivals!

Global Marketplaces

Epcot Food & Wine Festival

EPCOT festivals are known for their amazing food, and Food & Wine Festival is no exception. This year’s Global Marketplace will see the return of guest favorites like Appleseed Orchard, Canada, Hops and Barley, Germany, and Greece. Disney also promises additional marketplaces to join the lineup — adding even more for your whole family to enjoy! (You can check out some of my past Food & Wine Festival Favorites HERE!) If I know Disney, this is only an appetizer of what’s to come for this year’s festival menu — so keep checking back for a foodie guide for EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival dropping in the near future.

Family Fun

One of the best things about EPCOT festivals is how Walt Disney World works to make these events fun for the whole family. From play places and scavenger hunts to wine tastings and cooking tutorials there’s sure to be something unique to experience for every age group on your list.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival’s scavenger hunt, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak has become a personal favorite of mine. In this game, you make your way around EPCOT’s many pavilions searching for Remy from Ratatouille along the way! He’s hiding in each pavilion with a different ingredient for his famous ratatouille, and when you complete your hunt you can take your map back to grab your prize. I shared some top tips for this scavenger hunt on Orlando Fun Tickets, and you can read them HERE! What’s great about Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is that the entire family can enjoy the pavilions and World Showcase. While the kids hunt for Remy, parents can check out the Global Marketplaces along the way!

Emile’s Fromage Montage

If your party is a fan of cheese, take part in Emile’s Fromage Montage. Sample dishes from Global Marketplaces across the festival, and keep an eye out for dishes featuring cheese — these will be important for this fun, festival experience. (Last year, there was a special list of participating menu items for Emile’s Fromage Montage, so I’m sure that will be the case for this festival season as well.) If you collect a stamp from five participating Global Marketplaces, you’ll receive a special Food & Wine Festival Prize!

Pro Tip: You don’t have to visit all different booths to gain your stickers, so if you find a festival favorite from the Emile’s Fromage Montage list feel free to go back and grab it again toward your five sticker total.

Merchandise & Music

In addition to the legendary food offerings, EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has always been known for its energetic entertainment! Although this festival season and the last looked a little different than the normal Eat to the Beat Concert Series, guests can still expect live entertainment all festival long thanks to performances by the Jammin’ Chefs, Mariachi Cobre, and the Voices of Liberty.

It wouldn’t be a new festival season at Disney without some new merchandise! We’re still waiting for a sneak peek at this year’s Food & Wine Festival merchandise, but it’s likely to include a new sprit jersey, pins, mugs, shirts, and more. With Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opening during the festival season, I’m sure he’ll keep his place as a centerpiece of the festival merchandise design.

We’re ending the month of March on an exciting note with the announcement of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival dates! Although I’ve already got a trip planned from The World’s Most Magical Celebration and the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at the beginning of October, I’m sure my usual Disney trip crew @EpcotAdam and @AdventuresandThingamabobs will be excited to plan another so we can experience it as soon as possible.
