Disney MagicMobile Launches On Apple Devices at Walt Disney World

Disney MagicMobile Service officially launched for Apple Devices today at Walt Disney World resort! Earlier this month, Disney Parks Blog announced that this new, contactless way to enter the parks would be coming soon. (You can read all about it HERE.) As of today, you can use your Apple Devices to enter the Most Magical Place on Earth!

This new service makes it even easier to experience the magic on your Disney vacation. Disney MagicMobile is available now on Apple Watch and iPhone and should make its way to your other smart devices soon.

Are you a fan of MagicBands? Not to worry! You can keep sporting your favorite MagicBand on your Disney vacation and new options will continue to join the MagicBand collection including some of your favorite characters, colors, and attractions. I just ordered new MagicBands for my upcoming trips, but I’m excited to use both MagicMobile and my MagicBands.

Ready to make the most of this new, contactless service on your next trip? Here are some top tips for using MagicMobile at Walt Disney World Resort.

Take Advantage of MagicMobile & My Disney Experience App Enhancements

In addition to MagicMobile, your My Disney Experience App is full of other helpful features that will keep you on track all vacation long. One new feature to take advantage of is the ability to automatically link your Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to your profile on My Disney Experience. By confirming your settings in advance, the app works for you linking up with participating attractions when you ride. Did you know your My Disney Experience app can also work as a room key for your stay at a Disney Resort Hotel? Simply open the digital room key feature and you’re ready to unlock your room with no extra card, keys, and bands required.

Create Your Customized Digital Pass

Similar to choosing your character for your My Disney Experience profile, Disney MagicMobile gives guests the opportunity to customize their passes through the My Disney Experience app. The portal has an array of Disney-themed MagicMobile pass designs for guests to choose from.  There are even options for Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders! These designs animate upon use and can be added to the Wallet app on your iPhone for easy access. You have the ability to store multiple Disney MobileMagic passes on one device, so if you’re traveling with friends or family this is a great way to keep everyone together!

Enter the Parks Faster Than Ever

With Disney MagicMobile, you’re always ready to enter the parks! Once you reach the access point to enter the park, hold your Apple Watch, iPhone, or other smart devices up to it. Enable Express Mode on your iPhone or Apple Watch and you won’t even have to unlock your device to use Disney MagicMobile. As always, a theme park reservation and a valid park admission ticket are required for entry into Walt Disney World’s four theme parks.

One of the best things about this new service is that you can still use both Disney MagicMobile and MagicBands interchangeably. So if you’re feeling a certain MagicBand one day and a no MagicBand day the next, you’ll still have the same great experience at Walt Disney World resort. Speaking of MagicBands, guests who are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel still have the opportunity to purchase their MagicBands at special, pre-arrival pricing!

Planning your next Disney vacation just got more exciting with this morning’s Disney MagicMobile announcement from Disney Parks Blog. I’m still counting on my next trip to see the mouse in May, and I’m ready to test out this new feature while I’m there.
