Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak

Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is still in full swing for a few more weeks, and I finally had the chance to take it all in last week! While I’ve always enjoyed eating and drinking around the World Showcase, this year I loved getting to experience some of the additional activities. From dance parties to cooking demonstrations, there’s so much to see and do at one of my favorite festivals of the year!

One activity I tried for the first time this year was Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt. At most merchandise locations throughout Epcot, guests can purchase this scavenger hunt for $6.99. (Annual Passholder discounts are accepted!

Once you’ve got your map you’re ready to go! Remy is hiding in 15 spots throughout the festival with ingredients to make his famous Ratatouille. As you make your way through the festival, keep an eye out for the ingredients!

Pro Tip: Remy likes to hide on rooftops, so keep looking up and you’ll probably spot him!

Once you find Remy, place the matching ingredient sticker on the right festival location! I have to admit that finding Remy was a little more challenging than I expected in some spots, so making it a group or family activity could be the best way to find him every time.

Pro Tip: Cast Members in the area are happy to provide a little hint here and there, so if you’ve searched and still can’t find Remy it’s okay to ask for help!

After you’ve completed your scavenger hunt, return to Port of Entry to claim your prize. Currently the prize is one of for koozies featuring a cute little chef: Remy, Mickey, Minnie, or Figment! Maps can be turned in until the festival ends on November 12.

Pro Tip: Any map that participates receives a prize, so even if your map doesn’t end up getting completed be sure to head back to Port of Entry for your prize anyway!

The scavenger hunt is different every year, so be sure to check back next year to find out where Remy is hiding his ingredients! (And who doesn’t love new prizes?!) Epcot seems to be adding something new to experience every year so I’m excited to see what’s in store for Food and Wine Festival 2019!

Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival may be coming to an end this month, but with a festival souvenir this Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak the memories never have to end! If you’re headed to Epcot before November 12, don’t forget to stop by Port of Entry to grab your map and Happy Hunting!
