License Plate with Purpose
This brand-new Walt Disney World license plate will feature the “EARidescent’ 50th-anniversary logo on a royal blue background. The design is inspired by Cinderella Castle’s color scheme and is available for presale now. Florida residents have the unique chance to commemorate 50 years of Central Florida magic by sporting this license plate on their vehicles. What’s really magical about this new license plate is that 100% of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish in Central and Northern Florida.
Make-A-Wish
Since 1980, Disney has partnered with Make-A-Wish to grant more than 140,000 Disney-inspired wishes — including thousands right at Walt Disney World resort. If you’re not familiar with the organization, Make-A-Wish works to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
In recent years Disney has raised awareness and funds for Make-A-Wish through their #ShareYourEars campaign on social media. You may remember sharing your ears for this cause that raised up to $2 million additional dollars for Make-A-Wish each year. Last year in celebration of their 40th year of partnership, ShopDisney and Disney Parks released a line of merchandise in “Wishes Come True Blue.” With 100% of proceeds for these new Walt Disney World license plates going to Make-A-Wish, this magical partnership will be able to grant many, many more wishes!
