Yesterday, Disney Parks Blog announced their search for Disney Magic Makers. From now until October 1, 2021, you can nominate someone who inspires you for this magical contest. Simply go to disneymagicmakers.com and share the positive impact that your Disney Magic Maker nominee has made. The nominating doesn’t stop with the website, though. You can share their story on social media too by making your posts public and including #DisneyMagicMakers on Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

You may be wondering — what characteristics set someone apart as a Disney Magic Maker? According to Disney Parks Blog,
“Magic moments come in all shapes and sizes, from simple, sincere acts between neighbors to massive acts of charity, kindness, and generosity. What binds these special moments together is the way they raise spirits, inspire communities, and connect people to one another.”
So put on your thinking cap, and find a person who you know has inspired others through acts of kindness, creativity, and generosity! I’m excited to keep up with #DisneyMagicMakers to see all of the amazing nominees pour in over the next few months.

As usual, when it comes to Disney, the magic doesn’t stop there, y’all! Disney is also donating a total of $400,000 to four non-profit organizations that they found demonstrated resilience during COVID-19 — Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Make-A-Wish®, The Nature Conservancy, and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
