Capture Your Moment is Coming To Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
A few weeks ago I shared about Disney’s Capture Your Moment service in the parks. In case you missed it, this service allows guests to schedule personalized 20-minute photo sessions with a Disney PhotoPass photographer! This is the perfect way to commemorate your vacation, especially if you’re already celebrating something special like an engagement, graduation, or baby announcement.
Capture Your Moment has been available in Magic Kingdom Park from its start in 2020, but earlier this week Disney Parks Blog announced that another Walt Disney World theme park will be offering this service soon, too! Before you know it, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will launch its Capture Your Moment program.
Capture Your Moment at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

In this park, Capture Your Moment sessions will take place on or nearby Discovery Island. Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s park icon, the Tree of Life makes for a picture perfect background!
Guests will start their Disney’s Animal Kingdom Capture Your Moment session by checking in at the ticket and information desk outside of Island Merchantile. You’ll discuss locations, props, and answer any questions that will help customize your session. Next, you’ll make your way to your photo shoot location, and once you arrive you’ll have 20 minutes to capture photos with your PhotoPass photographer!

Capture Your Moment sessions are $50 and can include up to eight guests. While prints and digital downloads are not included with the price of this session, if you’ve already purchased a Memory Maker or Memory Maker One Day package the photos can be downloaded at no extra cost.
Bookings for Capture Your Moment can be made up to 60 days in advance, and reservations for this service are strongly recommended! Guests can book their session through the My Disney Experience app, online on the website, or by calling 407-939-7758. A limited number of same-day reservations may be available when you visit, so stop by the guest relations location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to inquire!

Starting May 17, 2021, guests can begin booking Capture Your Moment sessions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This service is still available at Magic Kingdom Park, and will hopefully make its way to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios one day, too!
