Disney Style

On Cloud 9

YOU ARE A TOY!

As a kid there are just some movies that you fall absolutely in love with. For me, that was Toy Story. I loved the characters, the Randy Newman songs, and even the toys and computer games that followed the successful movie release! The best part about this movie for me was that as I got older I only grew to appreciate it more.

For these reasons, it was no surprise that when Jambo Joe came out with his Toy Room Cloud collection, I just had to have it! I love when I can add some subtle Disney touches to my look and that’s exactly what these Toy Room Cloud pieces did for me. I would recognize that simplistic cloud icon anywhere!

When the collection released, I couldn’t help but reach for the sky!  I grabbed both the hat and tee. (I clearly have no self control when it comes to Toy Story.) I rocked the hat on Instagram for the #SummerofDisneyStyle challenge, but saved the tee for a later date!

By the time Paris and I officially scheduled our trip for September and I knew exactly what tee I wanted to rock in Pixar Place.

I paired my Toy Room Cloud tee with some suspender shorts and white sneakers. I felt like a kid again in this playful look exploring (what’s left of) Pixar Place! I thought the knotted headband was the perfect little pop of white and I accessorized with my Lillian & Co “To Infinity and Beyond” bracelet of course! Although there is not much to do in Hollywood Studios right now, I’m excited to see what’s to come for this park. Especially for the much anticipated Toy Story Land! While exploring the park that day, Paris and I were able to catch a glimpse of the new Slinky coaster on one of the drops during Tower of Terror. It was a fun surprise that just kept us pumped for any future updates to that land!

Until then, I’ll just keep channeling my inner child in my Toy Room Cloud tee.

If you’re looking for simplistic, yet statement-worthy Disney style pieces, look no further than Jambo Joe! His designs are clever and inventive, two things that Walt Disney was all about. With designs like Streetrats and Paw Pops to even a Magicgram pins collection, Jambo Joe’s creativity keeps us wanting more! Currently low key (not so low key) waiting for the Yeti Confetti sweatshirt to come back in stock so I can snag one.

What Disney movie icons would you love to rock?

Initially they do, but everyone is so busy trying to get to an attraction or something that they just kinda look and move on! haha I was kind of nervous at first, but I got over it real quick!

That was my thought! Toy Story brings out the kid in me so I thought a more playful look was perfect for this tee!
