Off To Neverland
Second star to the right and straight on ’til morning…
HERE WE GOOOO!
Don’t mind me, just flying off to Neverland! Can you believe that Peter Pan premiered almost 65 years ago? This classic Disney film will be celebrating it’s 65th anniversary on February 5th and I couldn’t help but get inspired to do a little Disneybound to celebrate.
When I think of Peter Pan, I think of so many wonderful memories. One of my first Disney attractions (still a favorite to this day despite the 90 minute wait), the songs that I grew up singing and still find myself humming from time to time, and of course the overall magic that is Peter Pan.
My Disneybound was initially inspired by this Danielle Nicole bag. I mean, can we talk about these details? Not only is it an adorable backpack, but it even comes with a strap to turn it into a handbag option as well. I loved that the size of the bag as well as the color was definitely a more sensible option for some everyday magic.
Bonus: When you wear it, it looks like you’ve got wings!
Once I had the perfect bag, I was inspired to Disneybound as Tinkerbell. I mean, we do have a lot in common. We’re both blonde with blue eyes, we both look good in green, and we’re both pretty sassy. (Just ask my mom or my husband.) The more I gathered for this look, the more excited I got about it!
As for details, I went with gold jewelry! I wore my simple gold castle necklace and matching earrings, one of my newest Lillian & Co. bracelets, and a Pixie Magicgram pin from Jambo Joe. I really think all these little touches went a long way for this look! Curious to see if there’s a Magicgram for your favorite character? Check out the full collection here!
Last I found this cute Kelly green skater dress online and knew it would be perfect for portray my favorite pixie! Although the style is obviously different than Tink’s iconic dress, I loved the short and playful style. Plus, it was super comfortable, so you’ll probably see this again!
If you look a little closer, you’ll notice that my Lillian & Co. bracelet is Peter Pan themed as well. I’m usually a rose gold gal when it comes to Lillian & Co., but when I put this look together I knew that this “Never Grow Up” bracelet in gold would be the perfect Neverland touch! With each bracelet comes a little note and I think the one that they included for this one was just spot on, ending by saying “Keep your childlike wonder”, which we should all strive to do! Aside from “Never Grow Up” they also offer an “Off To Neverland” bracelet for Peter Pan lovers!

Heading to Magic Kingdom next week? You may find some Peter Pan inspired surprises there waiting for you! On February 4-10 guests can experience special Photopass Magic Shots throughout the park. Also, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee will be coming ashore to Fantasyland for the week — so be sure to stop by and see them before they’re back aboard the Jolly Roger! I won’t give everything away, but if you’re due to be in Magic Kingdom February 4-10 be sure to purchase Memory Maker so you can take advantage of these exciting surprises! With a little Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust, this iconic movie can turn a regular Monday something magical! If Peter Pan touches your heart like it touches mine, mark your calendars and be sure to watch this classic on Monday, February 5 (I know I will). Oh, and one more thing — Whether you’re celebrating in the Disney Parks or at home, be sure to use the hashtag #PeterPan65 so everyone can see what you’re up to!
