The Guest Relations Hack You Never Knew You Needed

Walt Disney World has come a long way since the start of the 21st century! Between new technology on attractions, the updated Fastpass+ system, and even an app, Disney is continuing to do its part to simplify the vacation experience for its guests. Like most things in life these days, when it comes to Disney most tasks can be done through their My Disney Experience app! Whether it’s booking a Fastpass+, checking current wait times for attractions, or even ordering food from some locations, it can all be done from the palm of your hand. For the few tasks that can’t be handled on the app, there’s Guest Relations.

On the Walt Disney World property there are multiple Guest Relations locations. Each of the four parks have one Guest Relations window on the outside of the park and another Guest Relations office to your left when you enter each park. There’s even a Guest Relations office in Disney Springs!

Why do guests usually visit Guest Relations? Some stop by to get a button for celebrating a birthday or special occasion. Others might pop in to make a dining reservation or learn about a special event going on. Guests may even stop by to compliment a Cast Member! (That’s if they don’t know about leaving a #CastCompliment on Twitter, of course!

For those of us who have been before, we know that Guest Relations is never a quick trip. And once you’re in the groove of your park day, it’s tough to get the motivation to trek back to the front of the park to wait in yet another long line! But what if I told you that there’s now a third in-park Guest Relations spot in Walt Disney World’s most populated park? That’s right, Magic Kingdom has added an ANOTHER Guest Relations location and it’s a game changer in my opinion!

If you’re looking for some low key Disney magic, head over to Liberty Square and you’ll find a Ticket Office right next door to the Hall of Presidents! Guests a welcome to stop by if they are looking to upgrade their tickets or replace a lost one, make dining reservations, take advantage of Disney’s Disability Access Service for someone in their party, and most other Guest Relations services! Despite the Annual Passholder logo on the sign, this Guest Relations venue is open to everyone.

Pro Tip: If you’re picking up your Annual Pass at the Will Call window and would like to get your colored Magic Band instead of waiting to order it online, you can pick one up at this location!

Although this location opened in March of this year, up until my latest trip to Disney last month I never knew it existed! We discovered it when we needed to update my brother Kevin’s Disability Access Service pass. Instead of having to make the trek from new Fantasyland all the way back to the park entrance, one of the Cast Members informed us of the Liberty Square location. (Hello more convenient location and goodbye long lines!) I also stopped by when my dining reservations weren’t updating on the app. A short walk over and immediate service really turned the stressful situation around for me!

When it comes to Disney vacation planning, the more you know the better! Even with Walt Disney World continue to update its services to cater to guests, first timers and seasoned Disney experts alike can never learn enough about this ever-changing resort. So the next time you’re in need of some help in Guest Relations, treat yourself to a stress-free experience at the newest location in Liberty Square!
