Disney Food

Disney Eats: Liberty Tree Tavern

Give me Liberty Tree Tavern, or give me death!

(Okay that’s a little dramatic, but seriously now I want some pot roast and mashed potatoes!)

Patriot’s Slush, Liberty Tree Tavern’s frozen cherry and apple beverage.

Tucked away in Liberty Square, there’s a delicious and underrated restaurant called Liberty Tree Tavern. In my family visiting this restaurant is a tradition every time we are in Magic Kingdom! I can’t even remember my first time eating there because we just always end up there! While most families are shuffling to find a table at Cosmic Rays or booking a reservation months in advance at Cinderella’s Royal Table, we reap the benefits by making a low key reservation for a lunch of the yummiest pot roast and mashed potatoes in all of Magic Kingdom!

Rolls and Honey Butter

Liberty Tree Tavern is open daily for lunch and dinner. For lunch guests can choose to indulge in the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Bill of Fare or pick a meal off of the À la Carte menu. My favorite choice of meal for lunch is the Our Tavern Keeper’s Favorite, also known as the pot roast and mashed potatoes! This meal is delicious, filling, and just the pick me up you need to make it through the rest of your Disney day to the fireworks show.

Declaration Salad

While I have always attended for lunch, on my most recent trip I had a chance to experience Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner! At dinnertime, the only choice for meals is the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Bill of Fare, which is a family-style dinner experience. The meal covers multiple courses including their Declaration Salad, Patriot’s Platter, and for dessert their Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake!

Sides included in the Patriot’s Platter: Corn, Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Gravy.

My favorite part of the meal was of course the Patriot’s Platter! The full spread includes Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, and Carved Pork Roast with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni and Cheese. Can you say YUM? The Patriot’s Platter was a great way for me to move past my pickiness a try a little bit of everything! The best part? You can order seconds and even thirds of your favorites from the platter. Can you guess what we ordered more of?

Patriot’s Platter: Pot Roast, Roasted Turkey Breast with Herb Stuffing, and Pork Roast.

Liberty Tree Tavern is a must every trip, but my family and I have a bucket list meal that we would like to make happen someday. We would love to take a trip to Disney for Thanksgiving one day and have our Thanksgiving dinner there! Talk about the ultimate Thanksgiving dinner.

Liberty Tree Tavern’s Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake

Whether you’re looking for another Table Service meal for your Disney Dining Plan or just a worthwhile sit down meal on your upcoming trip, don’t overlook Liberty Tree Tavern! It’s my favorite meal in all of Walt Disney World and when you look at the delicious food, it’s no question why.

That’s one place I haven’t eaten! We are slowly trying to eat at every single restaurant and do every single attraction. This looks really good and may have just jumped to the top of my list!

YAY! That’s on my list as well, trying to eat at every restaurant. It just doesn’t help that I’m so picky!
